Djibouti Spring season 2025: SECOND WEEK
Our second trip to Djibouti welcomed us with strong northerly winds and noticeably cooler conditions than expected. Despite the challenging weather, spirits were high as we set sail with the youngest group Wild Sea has ever hosted – an enthusiastic team of young Chinese anglers, all eager to land their first or second giant trevallies.
Socotra October Season - Extreme Itinerary, No1
The bad weather from the previous week persisted for several days and worsened to the point that, in some villages, boats were pulled out of the sea for safety. This week, we moved to a new area that is more sheltered due to the wind direction. Thankfully, it’s somewhat more protected here, but the sea is still rough and challenging.
Djibouti October season 2024: SECOND WEEK
The second week of our adventure in Djibouti brought with it fresh hopes and a renewed sense of purpose. With a new group of anglers onboard, we were eager to see what the Gulf of Aden would unveil this time. Much like the first week, the fishing started on a slower note, requiring patience and persistence. However, as the days progressed, the action ramped up dramatically, surpassing even the impressive results of the first week.
