2026 Spring Djibouti Season

Dear Anglers,

As our 2025 Spring season in Djibouti draws to a close, we’re thrilled to announce that bookings for our 2026 Spring Djibouti Season are now open!

Since we first began exploring this extraordinary fishery, Djibouti has continually revealed its wonders, delivering unforgettable experiences to both seasoned and novice anglers alike.

The Fishing

Djibouti’s waters are dominated by the legendary Giant Trevally, present in impressive numbers and a wide range of sizes, a clear indicator of a thriving ecosystem. But the action doesn’t stop there. These rich waters are also home to an exciting variety of top-tier predators, including king mackerel, snapper, dorado, grouper, barracuda, sailfish, and the elusive Napoleon wrasse.

We’ve developed a flexible and resilient itinerary that ensures excellent fishing opportunities, even in less-than-perfect weather. Our setup includes two panga boats for popping and jigging, as well as an extreme shore fishing option for those who are ready to test their mettle.

Years of experience chasing Giant Trevally across the Indian Ocean have allowed us to perfect an approach to shore-based GT fishing that blends technique, timing, and tactical guidance. It’s a high-adrenaline, skill-driven challenge—ideal for anglers seeking the ultimate test of strength, focus, and endurance.

The Destination

While Djibouti offers world-class fishing, the land itself is just as captivating. Located at the junction of three tectonic plates—the African, Arabian, and Somali—this region is geologically unique, with a dramatic, volcanic landscape of towering mountains, salt lakes, and raw, arid terrain. The contrast between the stark land and the teeming sea creates an experience that is both visually and emotionally powerful.

As we wrap up another incredible spring season, we invite you to join us in 2026 for a journey through a very unique and rewarding fishery. Let Djibouti challenge you, surprise you, and leave you with stories worth telling.

Tight lines,
