Reeling speed variations: This lure can handle dead slow, slow, medium, and high speeds, so try varying the reeling speed throughout a single retrieve to entice the fish. Sudden changes of speed variations and pauses are also very effective.
Example: High-Middle-Slow-Pause-Middle-Dead Slow → Middle-High-Sudden Stop
Reeling + Strong Jerks & Twitches: Occasionally, try making the lure slide underwater with jerks while varying your reeling speed. The key to sliding is to use stronger, more impactful short jerks than usual and make them quick! This might be difficult with a rod that's too soft.
