WHY US

Wild Sea Expedition was born from our endless passion for fishing and traveling over wild and unknown destinations, specializing since 2012 in Saltwater Fishing. We are a crew of explorers who have been the first to fish through a number of areas over the Red Sea (Sudan, Eritrea, Saudi Arabia, and Djibouti), the Gulf of Aden, and the Indian Ocean (Yemen, Somaliland) to discover places outside of the touristic route. Today we have more than 12 years of experience in exploring new places in the Indian Ocean and the world.

Our goal has always been to offer unparalleled experience in destinations that are unusual and exotic, our trips are not only fishing trips but also life experiences in very wild and pristine areas.

These days we are proud to have created one of the best fishing guide teams on the market and a premium selection of unique destinations, each one with a strong and unique character, each of our destinations has something to be remembered and something special.

MISSION

Gareth Sims

Born in Zimbabwe in 1990 I started to enjoy fishing from a young age traveling to Mozambique and fishing with my dad on school holidays led to a guiding opportunity there. After three years of operating as a guide in Mozambique, I successfully started my own guiding company there at 21 years of age. Which I subsequently closed 8 years later because the demand from my clients to freelance in different parts of the world had grown to such an extent I could not dedicate enough time to my

Mozambique operation anymore, although I still do freelance trips for select clients to Mozambique. The destinations I now travel to include Madagascar, Seychelles, Central & South America & Yemen. it has always been my passion to explore remote and unknown places. The opportunity to work in Socotra has been one of my highlights so far. My goal is to keep expanding on this and pushing the boundaries that discover new and unique fisheries. Working with Nicola and Wild Sea Expedition has mentored my spirit for these challenges and adventures.
